A ship returning from the East arrived, with something of which we were not aware, hiding with it's cargo deep inside, and the rats that spread the sickness, soon were everywhere. Death will find you Rumors of plague, soon will become reality. Millions will die during "The Great Mortality" Black Death arrives, Killing with such brutality. It's inside you A cruel disease, defying explanation. Devestating rich and poor alike. Everywhere was fear and desperation. There wasn't any way to know, where next the plague would strike. Chorus 1 (Chorus 2) Say a prayer for the dying... All of Europe is crying... All the pain and sorrow... Will it end tomorrow... Would it make any difference... Asking God for deliverence... Why is our misery persisting... Maybe he just isn't listening... Chorus 2 Priests and men of science waging war, against an enemy that they can't see. Fighting evil in it's purest form.
