we've taken so much for granted here in america the food we eat, winter heat, the families that we love we knew of war and terror as we heard news from abroad then came that september day, oh my GOD! we've heard our elders talk about the first and second world wars, stalin, hitler, pearl harbor, the normandy shore but they would not believe that september day when so many lives were lost right here in the good ole USA the land of the free and the home of the brave many from afar would like to take that all away but we will rise against them, 'cause freedom's here to stay i thank GOD that i was born in the USA this awful tragedy in our own homeland has brought us close together, yes, united we stand united we stand, and we refuse to fall united states of america the greatest of them all so everybody wave your flag, stand up proud and tall let your spirrit not be broken, let not freedom fall ber kind to your neighbor like you've never done before be proud of america from sea to shining shore |
